mini camp report..

finally time to blog about VIP.. i will only say the fun stuffs.. anyway VIP is fun!!!

day1
~usual area cleaning and all..
~then had evac bronze lesson a very interesting 1 i guess.. the instructor act like want to make mistake for us.. but actually he did made a mistake.. haha try to coverup right khee rui.. evac accred was super **** i did not study at all.. but i guess i still passed..
~firedrill (dryrun) .. and we were all not wearing shoes, had to run to field only socks and yucks!!
~Orientation run was fun, running around in twos goin left right left right.. people all staring at us.. everyone finished the run.. but i was super smelly and tired..
~then was dinner and next evac silver, lesson was fun. with all the trying of carrying casualty..
~debrief was sleepy.. all yawning..
~i had my interview on day1.. sat there and said nth but I LOVE ORANGE haha thats why i know about myself.. :P

day 2
~breakfast was toast kaya bread. my favourite but i was not feeling well so ate only 1 small corner of it..
~evac silver accred.. this time i had more confidence compared to bronze..
~firedrill again with causalty.. derek u r heavy man..
~next up OA map reading.. i was really gong to read with compass.. luckily the IC was patient with us..
~OA again after lunch.. knots again i really look stupid, with desmond showing step by step in making the knots :P
~then we made a first aid table using poles and strings.. it does not looks like a table at all.. (show pics next time)
~tent pitching was fun.. having competition with one and other..
~ my favourite of OA outdoor cooking.. we used ZERO match sticks to start fire.. haha pro ba.. actually we used other's match 1 only and they start borrowing fire.. then we had a competition to see who could decorate the chicken and noodle best.. BRAVO WON!!! haha.. (show pics next time)
~then all the lame stuffs like OA theory, Recruitment Strategy, debrief

day3
~exercise humanity.. the case study was like tsunami hitted ubin then we got to find and save causalty.. our group had to go the longest route 4 stations in all while A & C had 2 or 3 stations nia.. at station 1 we took 6 mins to save mr X.. saved!!! then station 2 was a resting check point.. (waste time to go there) then we went to station 4 first but the instructors asked us what if there was some1 dieing at station 3.. so we walked to station 3 when it was a toilet point of us.. then we walked back to station 4 for lunch.. on our way back there was wild bore (fake) then tammy ma'am (causalty) had bitten by jellyfish and dunno wad... we had to save her but dunno what to do.. so decided to evacuate her back to base.. 4 person carry her and 5 took bags.. however in the middle sarah ma'am told me and ZL.. see behind, see hornet coming.. then we both look at each other.. i shout hornet while she blowed whistle.. people carrying bag throw bags on ground and they "drop" her down.. SY used her poncho to cover tammy's face.. haha..
at that time i was carrying 3 bags.. while ZL 2.. we got tired and started walking slower and slower ZL wanted to help me.. but i still can manage.. when sarah ma'am asked me mary are you tired.. ZL knew something was not right.. the pulled me to walked faster away from sarah ma'am.. then ma'am said mary faint.. opPs.. i quickly drop all the bag and faint.. ZL stared at me then asked if i was ok.. (she knew i fake) she quickly asked for manpower when every1 was stanned?? 2 casualty.. then every1 put their bags down trying to use 4 aider method to evacuate me to base but melissa and YS was so small size how can.. then they called alpha or charlie for help.. but they also not enought ppl.. so every1 just put down all their bags and carried me.. at first was ZL and dunno HY and Bertha and LM.. then they walk walk until tired at this time some guys came ot help them carry with stretcher... (i drank desmond's sweat eeeeeeeeee) they place me at their shoulder and i was like wah.. super shaky sia.. being a casualty was no fun.. although was relax letting people carry.. but i so heavy,so felt bad for all of them..

~breakfast
~my footdrill sliver lesson, thoery in the morning.. everyone was like asleep.. yawn!!
~then practical lesson then accred.. all passed sliver... happy for them.
~then footdrill gold and accred
~lunch was nice.. with all left over from BBQ..
~ area cleaning.. pretty well done i would say..
~debrief.. every1 were like yeah last programme.. but debrief was more than 1 hour.. with every1 crap.. like QiJun sir saying that he was actually a nice guy.. i doubt that.. then took photos.. mentors gave chocolates.. and home sweet home.. super super tired..

after camp..
~it was raining and my 8250 caught water.. abit siao..
~i overslept and miss the bus stop.. so took one big round home.. daddy had to wait 10 more minutes for me
~unpack everything and throw into pails with water and alot of soap lots and lots of soap..
~ then bathe and eat.. then sleep.. for 10 hrs..

just want to make myself clear.. when u tok to me you felt like a barrier.. i can tell u i never change.. neither did u change.. maybe you did.. its just the closeness was not there.. situation changed.. you are not someone who i am close with le.. try talking to someone, you will feel the same there is a wall built months since you were away..

today as usual.. got meeting at HQ.. then took group photos..

and last night.. (now its 6.am) i had a dream about u and i..
we meetup at a nice place and u gave me my presents.. it was soft toys, 3 bearbear... (same as last yr) i remembered that 1 was a friends forever bear.. that kind tat we spotted at one of the shop in raffles place.. it was holding a heart with a LOVE.. every moment was very nice sweet and happy.. until i saw guozhong (why he appeared in my dream i dunno, nvm just continue my dream) i spoke to GZ.. then he got impatient and walked off to the train station (looks like 1) i did not bother to look for him.. then he got worried.. started looking around.. chased after me when i was spotted.. he knew i was mad and angry.. he shoot out his little finger and promised that he wont walkoff just like that again.. i pulled his hands over and held it tightly.. but the feeling was not the same as it was before..

the logistic IC made a joke out of himself today.. but desmond.. i promise i will help u in this round of proposal.. he had a very very detailed log list.. with a wok.. and another wok with cover.. so wads the difference?? he also had too much stuffs to bring for camp as a log ic lah.. me and frens were like huh?!! is he going to bring a lugguage for camp?? haha.. okie tats enough..

next was footdrill lesson AOP my team consist of zhen luan,melissa,yeeshan and me.. proposal was fine.. i saw jianfu sir wrote a :) on his note book and showed to other instructor.. i guess this was all zhenluan's credits.. yar.. she did almost everything herself.. or rather, its everything.. she sleep at 2am for two nights.. today i learnt that stomach pain was no joke.. i thought i was nervous then had stomach pain.. BUT!! it was gastric pain.. and i pain for 6hrs.. no fun man.. and i will never skip meals ever.. it really hurts..

today also had footdrill accred.. sliver and GOLD!!! i learnt lots of commands today man.. like what to do.. and wad i thought was not right as a command but was actually right.... i learnt slow march today.. and got accred.. PASSED pro ba.. haha.. actually i was not doin standard lah.. all the while i was peeping down and staring at ZL's foot.. footdrill was really fun...

VIP meeting with FUN!!!

Today went for meeting.. As usual .. Meeting bout lots stuffs.. Then lunch.. There was this girl in front of us.. Wearing super short skirt.. Then I take out my phone act like tat pic.. ZL who was in front of me.. Really took the pic.. Then I beat her.. Accidentally hit her phone.. It fell off the escalator.. from dunno which level.. it drop to another level.. SORRY ZHENLUAN!!!
Tml meeting again.. luckily meeting point at bukit batok.. which is west side.. heng.. tml no need wake up early le.. thank god..!!!

haha.. this was taken my melissa.. one of my Bravo Champion Groupmate..
Maybe i can take some time here to blog about what i think of my Groupmates ba.. hrmmm..
Lets start with YeeShan since i am the closest to her.. haha.. both of us were SUPERQUIET.. Then always like left out.. then we start talking to each other..yar she is a nice girl(from SengKang sec) hey i know melvin u know.. maybe she dunno.. haha.. well she will always has sweets in her bag.. and she MIGHT has an affair with derrick her chair.. thats a mystery.. =)
ok next will be melissa.. a girl from cedar who is very skinny sia.. she is a very friendly girl.. get to know her well yesterday when doin the script for puppet show.. by fate.. she always will sit beside or opposite me during meals.. and she eat never finish her food de.. then zhenluan will say, cannot finish then nevermind.. haha sure de.. =)
then zhen luan.. i really cannot stand her.. as in.. she is a combination of Jaci and Cindy.. her eyes looks like jack.. then they way she speaks and does everything is super like cindy.. OMG!!! ZL is a potential leader.. in most times.. she will be the one leading our group to do work.. =)
okie next.. Esther.. some1 who seats behind me during the first contact session and helped me fold my sleeves.. THANKYOU!!! then the second contact session.. we were on the same train.. i guess all agrees that she is very pretty ba.. i also quite attracted.. haha.. she is also another leader of our group.. the group IC of bravo.. =)
now its LeeMin.. the most busy person in the camp.. she is our chairperson.. erm.. nv really tok to her.. but will get to know her better through the camp.. =)
yar now is shwu yhue.. she is from evergreen sec.. a very fair and small size girl.. guess wad.. she was EGSS's commander.. really cannot judge a book by its cover.. i guess she is a good debater.. cos she really can speak her ideas very well.. she also super helpful.. ytd i super tired.. then send her some stuffs and ask her to help me forward to all.. and she did.. without complains.. =)
now the guys.. JinLiu and Shamsul.. jinliu looks like a malay.. tats why SY was shock when he said his name.. shamsul was a quiet guy at first.. but now.. super noisy le.. we onli have 2 guys in the group.. really got to treasure them.. haha.. =)

NEVER GIVE UP! Be happy and optimistic about this course.

Today went to bugis.. Shopping?? haha no time for this lah.. went to national library for lesson planning meeting.. actually i was late.. cos i was lost.. haha.. sorrie bravo trainees.. first time met yingsheng sir.. erm.. no comment bout look.. but his a great mentor.. gave lots of advice.. thank you sir..
then rushed down to update my picture for passport.. then rushed home to online.. Bravo Champion are actually having a online meeting now.. but i slack.. updating my blog.. haha..
reading all the mails sent from sarah ma'am, tammy ma'am, reejie sir.. they are really very nice mentors.. every1 is encouraging us.. BRAVO CHAMPIONS only has 9 ppl compared to others who has 12.. we will be the strongest group in VIP 07/07.. even pohboon sir praised BRAVO during the contact session..
heard from shishi that the FDC training was not good.. people refuse to do Pt.. hey its for your own good right.. haiz.. and drills deprove.. i only not there for 1 day.. all out of control.. MYGOD!!! wednesday i will be going down to school to check on them.. then rush down for bravo meeting.. that means i will skip 2 hours of meeting with the champions.. you all lah!!!

VIP 07/07

woohu!!! i am back with the 2 contact sessions.. now super tired..
wokeup 6.45 then head to campsite near bedok.. then reach home at 8 plus..
although nv really enjoy myself.. (all theory based for 2 days) i made lots of friends.. and learnt lots of stuffs..
my mentor are super nice ppl.. they are tammy ma'am, sarah ma'am, wenjie sir, jason sir , ying sheng sir.. (sorrie cinlee.. pohboon was not my mentor, actually was.. but change again)
i was in the logistics committee for this VIP.. haha that was what i always do in jwssrcy..
haha.. saigang.. someday this week need to go report to campsite again.. why??
to check the stuffs in logistics room.. saigang.. but i supposed it was a more easy job compared to the other committee like campfire ba.. so i am still lucky.. this yr de VIP not based on AOP.. thats proposal.. its based on how your plan for lessons.. and make sure all other trainees pass their test..
my group BRAVO.. really bravo.. we had to do lessons on evacuation sliver.. so i guess after VIP.. i can take ppl from our school evacuation test le.. yippy.. and footdrill silver,gold theory.. this lesson plan compared to AOP.. of course this is more managable right.. then tml meeting at 10am national library.. level 5.. (do dropby if you have time, haha)
haha.. the most happy thing is that i will be getting the VIP 07/07 tee shirt.. which non of the VIP batches ever had.. the tee is like ULP trainer kind, with different designs on the back only.. and i will be super PROUD to be wearing this tee..

From Qi Jun Sir.. There are two types of ppl.. One kind are those who failed without trying.. the other are those who tried without failing.. so which one do you want to be?? i guess i will be the second type!! JIAYOU, jiayou, jiayou for VIP!!!
